NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health

At Bemac Training Ltd, we offer a 10 day Nebosh General Certificate training course that provides individuals with the skills and know-how to complete their health & safety responsibilities within their working environment.  It can also be used as a first step in a career within Health & Safety.

About the Course: 

The path of Nebosh is a challenging yet rewarding experience designed to complement established management skills. The core competence is transferable across all employment sectors, which makes the qualification highly respected and valued by employers.

Holders of the National General Certificate have demonstrated that they possess a broad base of knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety such that they can manage their everyday activities safely – with Health & Safety as an integral part rather than a bolt-on extra.  With the Certificate you will be able to make a valuable contribution to reducing both losses to your organisation and harm to your fellow employees.

The Nebosh General Certificate will consist of two units:

NG1       –              Management of Health and Safety

NG2       –              Risk Assessment

Assessment:

NG1 shall be assessed by written review and NG2 shall be assessed by practical examination.

In August 2019 Nebosh released their Learning Partner Programme to which Bemac Training Ltd received the Gold Learning Partner status. Ensuring all learners benefit from the best learning experience.

Upon completion of the Nebosh General Certificate Learners can enhance their qualifications by adding the Nebosh Environmental, Nebosh Fire and Nebosh Health & Well-Being Certificates. Individuals also have the opportunity to progress to the Nebosh Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
