Mental Health First Aid Training is a global movement, the first of its kind to be translated across cultures and languages in 22 countries. Mental Health First Aid training seeks to improve and increase mental health awareness and provide the skills necessary to have a non-judgmental conversation and encourage support.

Mental Health First Aid training is a program that teaches you how to help a person developing a mental health problem (including a substance use problem), experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
The sessions will be a mix of presentation, group discussions and group work activities. We have two extremely experienced and recommended facilitators for the course who are there to provide a very safe learning environment and are trained to support you throughout the two day course as it is a very in-depth course.
Due to some of the sensitive subjects of our course, including suicide, we limit numbers to 20 delegates. We want all delegates to feel safe and our tutors can help if any areas cause some concern.

Each course is delivered a quality assured tutor, who has attended the instructor training programme accredited by Public Health Agency and Mental health First Aid. Candidates will receive an accredited certificate from FAA and will enable candidates to say they are now a certified Mental Health First Aider.
