Duration: 4 Days
Overview: The IOSH Managing Safely for Construction Managers course has been designed to provide an appropriate breadth of underpinning knowledge for non-specialists in health and safety to enable them to discharge more effectively their organisational duties with respect to health and safety within construction and other related industries. In addition, those working in health and safety in other occupational settings, but who require additional construction-specific knowledge, may also benefit from the course.
This qualification has been designed for Site Managers, Senior Foremen, CDM co-ordinators, Employee Representatives, and those in professional practices who have responsibility for health and safety.
The course has been approved and validated by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and as such meets the requirements needed for application for the CSR Platinum Managers card. Delegates must have a minimum of 5 years managerial experience and may be required to undergo a further assessment prior to obtaining the Platinum CSR card. Delegates already holding recognised professional qualification eg MCIOB may be exempt from a further assessment and should contact us for further information.
