Our 1 Day IOSH Managing Safely Refresher training course is aimed at Managers and Supervisors who have previously completed the IOSH Managing Safely course within the last 3 years. It will refresh, update and enhance knowledge gained on the original course as well as provide updates on current Health and Safety legislation and information.
The Objectives:
On completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
- understand the role of risk assessment within the safety management team
- outline the main requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- outline the techniques required for accident investigation and the human behaviors involved
- identify workplace hazards and the hierarchies of controls
- prepare active monitoring checklists and use them in carrying out monitoring and reviews in the workplace
- explain the purpose of a health and safety audit.
