Many of you may have heard that the CSR Scheme Introduced the requirement for candidates to obtain NVQ’s, to process their CSR Cards. This is also the case for the Building Site Supervisor GOLD CSR Card.

To ensure you can comply with these changes, Bemac are now accredited and due to deliver their 1st Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision.

The Construction Employers Federation have agreed that the SVQ Level 3 in Construction Site Supervision can be used to obtain the Building Site Supervisor GOLD CSR Card. (Upon completion of the 4 Day Site Safety Supervisor Course & Touch Screen Test).

We are aware that there may be Supervisors who do not currently hold any qualifications and have been doing a great job through their experience alone. The beauty of the SVQ Qualifications is that it’s a course that takes your experience and uses it as evidence. This is done by the way of on-site assessment. Not to mention the SVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision does not require renewal.

Completing the SVQ will be beneficial to the company but also the individual. Not only will you hold a CSR Card you will gain a qualification.
