This course will benefit all organisations seeking to improve efficiency and morale within the workplace and will allow them to demonstrate commitment to the health and well-being of their workforce. It will equip managers to minimise absence, encourage people back to work where possible, and deal effectively with the health issues of their staff.
Who is this course for?
It is suitable for Managers, Supervisors, HR or Safety Personnel who have responsibility for, or involvement in, the health and well-being of employees as part of their day-to-day duties.
The course offered over 5 weeks, one day per week. It is assessed by a two-hour written examination and a practical assessment based on identification of workplace health and well-being issues.
A unit certificate is issued denoting achievement of each unit. A unit parchment is issued on successful completion of the unit and the practical element
Assessment: Exam (NHC1) and a Practical Assessment (NHC2)
This course is CITB approved and grant aid may be available for those companies registered with CITB or Invest Northern Ireland.
